The completion
There are only a few things left to do until the DD2.JZ can be presented in all its glory. For this reason, the DD2.JZ team has come to the workshop again to give the vehicle the finishing touch after the last complete painting.
Everything begins with the removal of the adhesive tape on the car body. These were used to mount grids in the spaces between the body kit. Dominic is in charge for this part of the job.
Meanwhile, Christian takes care of the placement of the BMW kidneys into the carbon bumper.
Then the missing diffuser parts are attached to the rear bumper. Christian does the surveying so that Dominic can carefully glue the carbon parts.
Using various wheel spacers, Christian identifies the ideal wheel-tire combination on each axle. Finding the perfect settings is complicated because the vehicle must have a good performance on the track, as well as stand out from the crowd at fairs in its lowered state by the means of the air-lift suspension. A lot of patience and a comprehensive technical understanding ultimately ensure the perfect result.
In the last step, the revitalized headlights are mounted. The two technicians await the final hand grips in full anticipation to finally admire the completed DD2.JZ.
The result looks astonishing.
