DOTZ DD2.JZ – “2JZ-GTE – The brake lines” – Rust? No way!

No place for rust

Since the underbody must also shine, there is obviously no place for old, rusty brake cables. After a quick disassembly the DD2 got new cables. This presuposed some bending and flanging.

In the next step, the new fly-off handbrake is installed into the car which is specially optimized for the requirements of drift vehicles. A short actuation allows the rear wheels to be blocked immediately, enabling precise and clean drift maneuvers.
