The new seats are following!
After the successful installation of the roll cage, both seats from the Japanese producer Bride get mounted in to the DD2.JZ! The brand is very popular in the tuning scene. This time Daniel and Christian have to work very carefully and precisely.
Christian starts immediately with the measurement of the individual distances on the interior floor. A precise mode of operation is crucial for a perfect result here in which the driver seat has to be easily adjusted without any jerking back and forth.
For this purpose part of the paint is removed from the floor. The custom-made form pipes are welded to the body to compensate for inequalities.
After that work on the first Bride seat is completed. Daniel is responsible for the perfect welds at the end.
Both technicians test the seat shortly in order to continue with their work by taking care of the passenger seat installation. Similar to before, here again form pipes are used. In contrast to the driver’s seat, the front passenger’s seat is not adjustable. Due to this the two can complete this part of work much faster.
Shortly after, the two seats are perfectly mounted inside the DD2.JZ. The second test drive is already in sight …
