DOTZ DD2.JZ – “New parts for our 2JZ.GTE engine” – package delivered

Like Christmas for drift enthusiasts

After the renewal of the brake lines and the “invention” of a new fuel system, we will continue this week with the unpacking and fitting of the just arrived engine components.

The extensive delivery includes a long list of parts, which were installed in the 2JZ.GTE engine. These include:

original Toyota water pump
original Toyota toooth belt tensioner
Gates RPM tooth belt
ATI crankshaft vibration dampeners
SARD 850cc side feed injection nozzles
Mishimoto G-Line intercooler
screamer pipes
TiAl Sport MVR 44mm wastegates
Garrett twin-scroll AR 0,95 exhaust housing
Garrett GTX4088r turbocharger

Beginning with the installation of the SARD injection nozzles to complete the suction side in time, the turbocharger assembly is continued after some welding work on the manifold itself. The crankshaft vibration damper also found its place after some “boiling up”, similar to a reinforced toothed belt on the engine.
