DOTZ DD2.JZ – “Pit stop”

Fine tuning and a new driveshaft

The torn drive shaft from the last episode does not hinder the two technicians Christian and Daniel at their project. Together they will take care of some of the little missing details they noticed during the DD2.JZ’s first spin.

Back in the workshop, the two examine the damage incurred during the journey. On the circuit, the old driveshaft didn’t withstand the power of the DD2.JZ.

The only logical solution for this is to replace the old driveshaft with a new one. Here, the two technicians refuse to hesitate and immediately organize a brand new driveshaft. After a very short amount of time it finally found it’s new place in the vehicle.

In addition, they considered to let the so-called screamer pipes protrude through the hood. The result would be a breathtaking sound that would result in reaching the maximum charge pressure. Again, there is little time until the work is completed.

In the last step, quick fasteners for the hood are mounted. With the help of these, the hood can be opened and closed at any given time without any issues, even under difficult conditions.
