Unbelievably much power under the hood…
It was to be expected that the DD2.JZ after all the modification of the last few months has one or the other horsepower more than a normal drifting vehicle, but no one could predict how much it would be exactly.
To make the last settings on the vehicle, the DD2.JZ was brought to ECU performance in Leopoldsdorf. There it got a Haltech control unit which was properly tuned afterwards.
In addition, the complete engine cabling was also assessed and further optimized. Then the engine could be started for the first time and tested on the Dyno-Run.
The test yielded a sensational 587 horsepower on the rear wheels with a torque of 685 N m.
At the end of the day, all involved examine once more the results of months of work.
