DOTZ DD2.JZ – “The Final Preparations” – Sensors & Interior

After the finished air suspension, the next activities continue!

In the next step Daniel and Christian take care of the Airride controller installation.

In addition to the air suspension control a tablet for Haltech control is installed in the Z4 dashboard. For this purpose a custom-made holder for both control units is necessary.

The original speedometer of the Z4 has to give way to the Haltech unit and this issue too has to be solved with a custom-made solution.

After a successful day of work, Airride control, tablet and speedometer are finally installed into the DD2.JZ. In the next article, the two technicians will take care of filling all essential liquids. In addition, the DD2.JZ will be sent for ECU performance tuning so that the engine can be started later. We are curious.
