DOTZ DD2.JZ – “The fuel system is giving us a hard time”

Unconventional means also lead to the desired direction

Originally the old plan included an interaction between the old BMW tank and new Nissan engine. However space problems led to the search for a new approach. In order to deal with the problems, a new fuel system was developed and installed into trunk of the BMW.

In addition to the tank, the installed components include two Bosch 044 petrol pumps with all other necessary petrol lines including the compressor. Airlift components have also found their place in the vehicle’s trunk. The 2JZ-GTE engine can supply fuel up to 1000 hp now.
