DOTZ DD2.JZ – “The interior takes shape”

Let’s start with the design

After the Bride bucket seats and the Takata 6-point harnesses have been installed, Christian and Dominic Tiroch take care of the vehicle interior design in this part of the DD2.JZ series.

The interior takes shape

Consistency in the interior is everything. Both outside and inside must look right. The first step is to install the original, previously removed original plastics.

The work requires sufficient space in the vehicle to reduce the risk of occuring damages. Therefore, the two decide to remove the roll cage almost entirely. Both need a lot of patience during the deinstallation of the roll cage.

After the removal of the security cell, the two devote themselves to the installation of the liner and the standard plastics.

A short time later, the headliner is in the right place and looks quite nice already. Christian and Dominic discuss all further steps and plan which design aspects are still remaining.
