Larger drift angles with the new Wisefab kit
In this part of the DD2.JZ series, we continue with the essential drifting settings. More specifically, the BMW gets new wishbone and axle parts. With these, the camber, caster and steering angle can be set much better. In addition, the ride behavior with the help of Uniball axle bearings is more accurate and feels a lot more precise.
So much to the technical data, but the expansion of the original parts should turn out as problematic, as Daniel and Christian shortly afterwards will find out. As it’s commonly knows it with used cars, which already have some kilometers behind them, the screw connections are unfortunately strongly corroded.
After some tinkering, the old control arms are removed and can be compared with the new ones. The differences are significant.
As expected, the new parts are less reluctant and are installed in the vehicle within a very short amount of time.
The improved steering angle at the front edges is easily recognizable. The first real test drive is thus getting closer.
